I wanted to remind Northridgers about two books I recently recommended, in case you want to pick them up at your campus tomorrow:
LIVING THE CROSS-CENTERED LIFE:
I would urge every person at Northridge to reach this book once a year until it becomes a normal part of your thinking. Remember, if you live with guilt, you do not live a cross-centered life (in one way or the other). I truly can't think of another book I wish every person at Northridge would read.
I wish I had read this ten years ago – I would have done a better job parenting. If you have teens or will have teens one day – read it. It has applications for all stages of parenting, but it is focused on launching them into life embracing their faith as they enter college.
PREPPING FOR TOMORROW:
I look forward to tomorrow at Northridge. If you get a chance, read 1 Corinthians 2:6-16 too! That is tomorrow's passage. One more bonus about tomorrow… we get to sing that new song again ("Nailed to the Cross"). I love that song!
