The day before we arrived in Maramara, Chad (back in April), they distributed 2 months worth of food and supplies to each household in the village. Among other things, they were given food (sorgham, millet, oil for cooking and peanuts) and non-food items (mats for sitting and sleeping, jugs to carry water, and tarps to protect from sun and rain). Here are some photos of that distribution day.
