We have spent the day (Wednesday) in N'Djamena for the UN plane to be fixed.
I had never seen "dust" as the weather descriptor on my weather app before. The high will be 109. N'Djamena is the hottest capital city in the world. And we could feel it today. There is no air conditioning in their cars – so you can really feel it if you aren't in an air conditioned area.
We did some shopping during our city tour.
N'Djamena is on a river that separates Chad from Cameroon.
Anthanase spent a few hours giving us a tour of the city. Because of camera restrictions in the country, I wasn't able to get any photos of the city.
On the hotel property are a couple of monkeys. Nate decided to share one of his granola bars with them.
