Leading a Church Staff

The longer I lead a staff, the more passionately I believe in the importance of and work hard for staff unity. We can have the greatest mission in the world (which we do). We can have incredibly talented people to accomplish the work (which we do), but if we aren't unified, God won't be glorified and the work likely won't continue to grow.

Unity
"A unified and healthy leadership team doesn't just happen. It has to be a priority. I don't think it is an accident that Jesus predicted church growth (Matthew 16:18) but prayed for unity (John 17:20-23). If left unattended or taken for granted, unity quickly disappears. Unity is the one thing that can't be left to chance."
